Multiplicity (1996)

Starring: Michael Keaton, Andie Macdowell, Eugene Levy

Inglorious Basterds (2009)

Starring: Brad Pitt, Melanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz

6 Thoughts on Inglorious Basterds
  1. I will admit that this movie was good, but my anti-Quentin Tarantino bias has forced me to say Inglorious is a perfectly average movie.
  2. I did enjoy Tarantino's longer scenes as he seems to be morphing into a more mature filmmaker.
  3. After watching Inglorious Basterds, I asked myself "If Pulp Fiction was shot in the same style as Inglorious Basterds, would I of loved Pulp Fiction?" I think the answer is yes.
  4. The suspense in this movie was often way too forced.

5 Thoughts on X Games 3D: The Movie
  1. A 90 minute glorified commercial for the upcoming X Games
  2. Perhaps the slowest 90 minutes I have ever sat through.
  3. If I had seen last year's X Games and had to sit through this movie's 3D rehashing, I would surely be pissed.

Funny People (2009)

Starring: Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann

6 Thoughts On Funny People
  1. I have never had a more wavering opinion on any other movie.
  2. When Funny People dedicates itself to being a full-blown comedy, it is beyond hilarious.
  3. Adam Sandler being the dirty Adam Sandler of old was just extraordinary to witness.
  4. Jason Schwartzman needs to join the "Apatow troupe" ASAP.
  5. The problems with the film begin with the dramatic elements; in particular, the last 45 minutes or so. The only saving grace to the "lost love" storyline is it's ability to keep the audience guessing.
  6. Despite being a near perfect filmmaker, Judd Apatow needs to understand that America does not care about his family.
  7. Don't let my negative comments deter you from seeing Funny People, despite its flaws, it is a fantastic movie.
