1. Solid.
2. Not the Oscar lock that everyone says it is, but a solid film nevertheless.
3. Vera Farmiga is an untapped well of acting prowess.
4. Takes some very unexpected turns to keep the plot churning and the audience intrigued.
5. Once in a while Up In The Air develops Lost In Translation syndrome and uses too much subtext. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing.
